Sieht ganz danach aus...ein Statement steht allerdings noch aus.

Everyone help us welcome The Devil Wears Prada to the family! The band shared the good news from the stage while playing their first set on Warped Tour in Pomona, CA. The band will appear on the tour for the rest of the summer.
TDWP have been riding high over the last couple of years with their newest album Plagues (release on Ferret outside of North America at the end of 2007) scanning over 65,000 in the U.S. and their first album Dear Love… at over 50,000 copies. Multi page features have run recently in Alternative Press, Revolver and Metal Edge among other places. Most recently the band has returned from a headlining run of the UK and a slot of the prestigious Download Festival. They plan to begin recording a new album at the end of the year for a 2009 release.

We're happy to announce that we're taking pre-orders for 'End Time Prophecies' which is a record we're really proud to be releasing. Deal With It has poured everything into this record and they have produced something we have never heard from a UK band. This record is a representation of a whole lot of effort, conviction and passion. They have created a record which honours the memory of old New York hardcore and its mythos but have stamped it with their own distinctive mark. Bleak riffs marry bleaker lyrics which spit out a scornful wake up call reflecting current planetary chaos. 12 tracks which hit hard but also have something definitive to say - a real rarity in today’s hardcore climate of posturing, jealousy and whinging. Fans of 'Alpha O' Cro Mags, The Icemen and Breakdown will get a buzz out of this.
Check out 3 new tracks streaming on our myspace page - www.myspace.com/deadandgonerecs and then tell me you're not excited.
To cap it all off the LP features artwork from Ed Repka (Megadeth, Nuclear Assault etc) which perfectly encapsulates the vision of singer Mike. Sweet huh?
Pre-orders will get the LP on limited colour vinyl and will also get chance to enter a draw to win a test press.
* If you order other items with a value of over £15 those will be sent out straight away. Other items of a lesser value will be sent with the DWI LP ** If you pre-order more than one copy you will get those records on colour vinyl unless you specify you want the main press *** A release date and record release show is currently being arranged BUT expect a late July release at the latest **** Not liking this is not liking Youth Of Today ***** A version on CD will come out – label to be announced soon

As rumours have been spreading for a while, we'd just like to let you know they are true. no long statement needed, 'cause it wouldnt interest people anyway, nor us. we broke up because we felt like, and it's for the same reason that we are back together again! We all missed the friendship, the passion for music and for the band, the live shows and the alcohol-drenched rehearsals, writing songs together, doing whatever we want, saying whatever we want to. That's why we felt this is the right time.
First off we'd like to welcome our friend Hainer as our new bassplayer! We're already writing new songs and are pretty stoked with the results. AND most importantly, we're gonna play our first show very soon, on july 9th, with noone less than Death by Stereo in our hometown Zwiesel. Ticket sale starts soon, we'll keep you posted about that.
Can't wait to be back on stage again and see all you people again out there!
See you soon!

P.S.: We decided to give away our full length record "the ghosts stopped watching" for FREE! So if you don't have it yet, simply visit our blog and you will find the link to download it in superior mp3 quality.

What’s up everybody?
Summer is here, and with that a lot of killer releases came out. First of all the Trapped Under Ice Stay Cold EP is finally out. As a matter of fact, the record officially came out today on May 6th and the 1st press is already sold out! We cant thank everyone enough for supporting TUI & Reaper and making this one of our proudest moments in the history of the label. The 2nd press is already on the way, and of course we got color vinyl available again for all your vinyl freaks out there, so get your change ready. We’re expecting to get the 2nd press in within the next 2 weeks so stay tuned. We’re also working on the CD version of theStay Cold EP which will also have 5 songs from the 2007 Trapped Under Ice Demo as well as live material and some other stuff that will blow your mind—make sure you check the boys out on their European tour with Lion Of Judah & Dirty Money. Trapped Under Ice will also join Terror & Death Before Dishonor on a full US tour this summer…
Also fresh from the pressing plant are the Black SS Terror Of The Northeast discography CDs—44 songs of total in-your-face hardcore. The layout came out super cool and my man Dave K from Hardware Fanzine wrote some cool liner notes. This CD contains all of their recorded material from demos, split EPs, comp tracks, full lengths, live recordings and other surprises. BSS is also working on material for a new 7?! We are hoping to get them into More Sound Studios around June/July. If all goes well we’ll have the record ready and out by the end of the summer.
Crowns Of Kings Lifeline full length CD will be out June 24th. We are thrilled to have Wes & Co back on Reaper for another great release that proves how alive the CT scene is. Make sure you check ‘em out at this year’s As One Fest in CT as well as all the other shows that they have lined up.
Terror is getting ready to release The Damned, The Shamed on Century Media on June 10th, and we just got the word that we will be doing a killer picture disc version of what I feel is their best effort to date.
Lots of people have asked what’s going on with the Cro-Mags Alpha & Omega reissue. Thanks for your patience. We had some layout difficulties, but construction on the artwork is back on track now. All we can tell you guys for now is that the record will be out before the end of the year. Everybody involved is excited and works hard to make this a great re-issue that’s worth the wait.
Also in the works: Death Threat God & Government + Now Here Fast double gatefold vinyl LP re-issue, True Blue Demo 7?, Slugfest Discography, Borrowed Time CD, Reaper Hardcore Compilation and much more …

Reflections Records:
As news travels fast most of you should have heard by now that Cursed, on their 2nd to last show of their European tour, got robbed from all their tour-money. Money they needed tp pay their van, their plane-tickets and their merch. Apperently someone, in a squat in Mullheim, Germany, got his way into a locked room and stole the bag that had the money, being over 8000 Euro’s, passports and some personal belongings, leaving the band not only with debts but most and for all a feeling of total despair. The band played, as what to appears, their last show the day after in Amsterdam, Holland....
We, as their European label, have never ever asked anyone to help out financially, and even though we have lost a fair amount of money as well, won’t do that now either. What we however are not afraid to do, is ask to help out Cursed. And although, Chris Colohan, the singer and spokesman of the band is very clear on their website yourfuckingfuneralblogspot.com about the (non excisting) future of Cursed, we feel we should do whatever we can to at least try and give them back a sense of hope and faith in the hardcore and punk community.
If you have a a few bucks, or maybe even a good amount, you can go to www.myspace.com/burninglovers This is Chris’ other band and on their myspace is a Donate button.
We also have leftover merch for sale in our online-store, we have their new album available. And some other goodies…. We would kindly ask you to pick up something from this incredible band and in that way help them out.
We’ve heard some plans from people doing benefit shows and what-not, but nothing is certain yet. Hopefully ‘our’ community, something we still believe in, can come up with something and really show that hardcore is for the kids, and BY the kids.
If anyone has suggestions or can help out (REALLY help out... Right now, words on the internet, no matter how well ment, don’t mean much….) please get in touch!

Die Band selbst dazu:
Yeah, you heard. Apparently, it gets even worse. That's all I know or even want to know for now. We got robbed at the very end of tour in a totally unreal, extremely sketchy series of events that still makes no sense at all, only leads to paranoia, anger and a total loss of faith. Passports, money, all the costs of the tour. Either way, whoever did it, it was a bullet in the head, the end of the line. A sudden and totally fucked up way for it to end, which I know will be fitting when I look back on it. All we could do was play the show, badly, and go our ways with whatever money we could muster. I hitched a ride back to Prague with Tomas. Since I can't do a fucking thing about it, I'm going to hang out with my girl, and friends, stare at some Czech mountains and try not to think about it. Needless to say, all outstanding plans are off. All this shit aside, thanks to everyone that helped out and travelled from all over for the shows on this tour, all the kids and bands we played and stayed with. Minus a few fucked up shows, it was probably the best tour we ever had. Thanks everyone for your good wishes. I'll elaborate when I'm home next week, for now - yes it's true, and yes it's over.

Dear lovers & fighters,
In times when the music industry is stumbling across its own feet, it is time to break new ground. As a band you have 2 choices, you either play the game by the old rules hoping you're one of the few at the mercy of the old marketing and promotion strategies. Or you can trailblaze your own pathway through the ever-changing music business jungle.
Sounds a lot like biz-talk, but in the end it's all about you, the fan, the listener, the fuel that keeps The Blackout Argument running. We have toured with Boy Sets Fire, Parkway Drive, This is Hell, just to name a few, played shows all over Europe, we have various releases out on great independent labels, a ongoing record deal with Lifeforce Records, got massive press attention all over the place, worked with some of the most renowned designers and have a long list of partners and supporters. Yet still, this is all about you. It's you who we are trying to reach with our message and music.
To go the most direct way without detour to your hearts and ears we decided to release a FREE DOWNLOAD EP in June 2008. It's titled "Smile Like A Wolf" and contains 5 brand new and exclusive songs, by the way the first recordings with Roughael, our new singer. No fees, no email-registration, no myspace friend requests requiery or any other bullshit.
Just go to www. smilelikeawolf. com and download the songs for free alongside a complete cd artwork and lyrics.
We put at least as much effort in "Smile Like A Wolf" as in any other release we put out so far. We spent hours and hours at the practice place, later on in the studio, forced our most drastic life experiences into lyrics, got Dave Quiggle (Rise And Fall, Sick of it All, Atreyu, War of Ages, etc.) to do the artwork and Milchglas Media to do the web development, to make sure "Smile Like A Wolf" is gonna fully satisfy us and you. This is our hearts and our lives, this is what we love to do and this is what we want to share with you, the fan, the listener, the fuel that keeps us running.

There is absolutely no truth to any speculation that SSD will be performing this summer. The fact is original vocalist David Spring "Springa" is assembling a band of hired guns to tour and rip off the public playing under the name SSD. Due to his selfish actions David Spring has officially been terminated from ALL association with the band SSD. His attempt to recreate SSD in 2008 will utterly fail and I hope the public will not attend his performances and if they do they make it as miserable as possible for him to remain on stage safely. I know I personally will make every attempt to make him pay for his corrupt, cheating selfish actions. SSD will always be a team with integrity. It's unfortunate that a fat overweight "has been" and "nobody" will try to fool the public under the mighty moniker SSD.
His overall contribution to what made SSD such a special band is so far under the radar and almost next to zero. Anybody intimately involved and close to the band understands his contribution. The real fact is that the band had to go out of it's way to compensate for his talent, work ethic and criminal behavior.
I feel bad for those fans who have been waiting for a chance to see the band but attending this Dave Springa performance is a travesty and borderline criminal. He is a terrible human being and I'm not just saying this now. He is basically the reason the band dissolved. Our relationship has been civil since we stopped playing but clearly after then band dissolved his musical and organizational ability pretty much guaranteed his ability to get to get zero accomplished. He couldn't write a song if it fell in his lap. Having said that, I have been monitoring this potential SSD rippoff roadshow for sometime and I have done my best to discourage it through various legal and illegal tactics. I have actually held off some royalties and payments to hold over his over his head and help him make the right decision. He is basically following the business model laid out by Cliff from the Freeze, Chris Doherty from Gang Green, Choke from Slapshot, I can only speculate but I believe their motives are clear. I hate to throw anybody under the bus but I'm sure this support system of 40 year olds living in the past has helped David Spring organize the tour.Motives
1) Rip off the public as 40 plus year olds playing music made by kids and capitaize on American Hardcore Movie
2) Make enough money to buy their alcohol, drugs and coke and whatever else
3) Pounce on as many foreign chicks who think these American punk rock stars are special and give them 20 year old pussies . Hopefully they will give them something else as well
4) Escape their miserable lives and US wifes and girlfriends to pursue their sexual fantisies
5) Hopefully come back to US with enough money so they can collect unemployment and continue their life avoiding a disciplined work schedule in which you wake up and go to work. They will repeat the cycle every two tearsIf it wasn't for my efforts, Springa would have justified this plan and pulled this shit sooner. It seems like he might pull it off this time but I am a fucking fighter and I don't take well to people ripping me off and tarnishing the name of my band. I am assemblng a network of supporters who will help do everything possible to make him uncomfortable and fearful for his safety at each show. If he gets close to the Boston New York area then I will execute the plan. My goal is to make the tour fall apart due to poor attendance, hopefully get the promotors to back off after my legal representative serve papers. I would also appeal to the general public to understand when they are getting ripped off and for them to NOT BELIEVE that this lineup is NOT SSD. It's just a fat overweight scumbag breaking ranks from the band. He must be stopped.
Please share this letter to anybody or punk rock news outlet.
It's time to put a stop to these rogue motherfuckers who have no integrity.
Anyone who can help make David Springs life miserable will be on my list of close friends who I will be entirely indebted to and hopefully I can repay the favor somehowthanks
Alan Barile

It's been a while since we've announced a new signing, and we're FINALLY, FINALLY proud to announce that we've officially signed the South Shore's (let's just say Boston's) very own, Energy.
Energy has been cutting their teeth around the region over the last couple of years, recording their debut EP Punch The Clock with Jim Siegel at the Outpost. Following the EP’s release on Rock Vegas Records, they quickly started doing multiple tours up and down the East coast and into the midwest. Following the line-up changes that most new bands undergo, the band's lineup recently settled with singer Jason Tankerley, guitarists Dan Mancini and Joe Freedman, bassist Conor o' Brien and recently acquired new drummer, Justin Flaherty. The band has shared the stage and shows with everyone from Death Before Dishonor to Strike Anywhere, Modern Life Is War, Comeback Kid, Crime In Stereo, Converge, Set Your Goals, and just about everyone in between.
Owner Chris Wrenn said, "One thing at Bridge Nine is that we always listen to our bands, both past and present, about people to keep an eye on. Two years ago, we got a phone call from Aram [the man of Champion, Betrayed, and Armenian descent] saying 'there's this band you need to keep an eye on called Energy-they're from Boston, so you have no excuse.' After that call, it seemed I was always watching Energy open for one of our bands and they kept getting better and better to where we needed to bring them into the fold. They add something different to the Boston area scene, and we're stoked to have them in the mix.
Energy enters Q Division studios in two weeks to record their debut full-length album to be released this fall, as well as an EP this summer. Until new material hits, you can check out some demos they posted last year on http://www.myspace.com/thisenergy
Something big is coming...
You've heard the rumors. Now you have the facts.
For the last few months, we've heard you whispering in dark corners of the internet. We've heard the hushed tones you've used in your favorite watering holes. We've heard your back alley mutterings. So, we thought it needed to be said loud and clear - AC/DC's got a new album on the way.
The boys have been holed up in a Vancouver studio with producer Brendan O'Brien and longtime audio engineer Mike Fraser, cooking up their first collection of new material since the 2000 release of Stiff Upper Lip.
Fans can expect the new album sometime later this year. We know it's not an easy wait, but you don't have to sit there twiddling your thumbs.
If you ask us, the best way to ready yourself for a new album is to listen to the old stuff. [...]
Fancy knowing what else AC/DC's been doing on May 12th of years past? Visit On This Day on May 13th to see what's happened throughout the band's history on that day. And keep checking in daily for more AC/DC history.
Have a good one,

Wir werden Euch dann regelmäßig über den Stand der Dinge informieren, so be prepared for the studio diary of the walkin' dead!!!
